For all of you who do not know, matcha, let's introduce you the two of you. Matcha is a fine-ground, powdered high quality green tea that is 100% pure ground organic tea leaves. We warn you now that matcha definitely has a strong taste than your regular green tea. But with 70 times the antioxidants of orange juice and 9 times the beta carotene of spinach, it sure has its health perks.

Side note fun fact: The Japanese have been drinking it as part of a tea ceremony for almost 900 years, and is even used by Buddhist monks in order to keep them alert, awake and focused during long meditations.

We serve matcha in two ways: on its own with hot water or in a latte. If you've never tried it before, we definitely recommend trying a latte first. It's a blend of Teapigs Organic Matcha with a dash of milk and cream, drizzled with honey for a little added sweetness.

Don’t be fooled by its colour, matcha latte could be your new favourite pick-me-up.
